
E-3 Visa
The E-3 non-immigrant visa classification is solely for Australian citizens. The purpose of coming to the United States must be to provide services in a specialty occupation. This occupation requires the application of advanced and specialized knowledge both theoretically and practically. The minimum requirement for entry into the profession in the United States is the attainment of a license or higher degree in a specific field or its equivalent.
To qualify for the E-3 visa, you must demonstrate that you possess the following attributes, among other requirements:
Being an Australian citizen.
Having a valid job offer in the United States.
Possessing the necessary academic or qualification certificates.
Working in a position that meets the specialty occupation criteria.
Duration: The initial stay duration may be up to two years. Except for certain special circumstances, extensions of stay are permitted for up to 2 years per extension, without a maximum number of extensions.
Family Members: The spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 of an E-3 non-immigrant worker are entitled to E-3 classification.
